Global warming is an alarming issue. Climate change resulting to extreme weather conditions followed by floods and soil erosion are happening everywhere and only God knows when and how massive the damage they’ll bring (hey! the continents are shrinking! look closely at the picture above). These natural calamities are oftentimes disastrous, and nobody's able to stop them if they happen (unless you have supernatural powers). Partly, to blame is global warming!
Unless we do our part to at least minimize global warming and other harsh actions against our ecosystem, our children and our children's children has no clear future to have a beautiful and clean planet.
What have you done lately to minimize global warming?
Well actually a lot, even though the press dosen't express it the people of the world are doing a better job then they did to make the world a cleaner place. Plus they are doing a whirlwind (not the washer) with solar, wind, electric, and even hydro power.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this ... we need constant reminders about what's at stake. I agree with fate that we (people of the world) are doing better than we once did. But we need to keep doing it ... and talking about it ... and pushing so that corporations and government get on the bandwagon. Every little bit helps!

What have I done lately? Well, this may sound like a plug (and it may be, for good reason), but my fiancee and I started a home-based business recently with a company that is almost 100% green, from their cleaning products to their packaging. For example, when someone orders some product paks, the company plants enough trees to offset the material used to package and ship the pak...Pretty simple, but VERY cool. It's the only reason my fiancee and I even considered doing it...We benefit through some passive income while helping to spread safe, environmentally-friendly products.

Hello K2Comfort,
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice to know that there are people like you who care to replace what they used from mother nature specially trees. Keep up the good work!
